The catechist edition includes everything that is in the catechumen edition. In addition, it provides a central thought, discussion questions, and summary of the Bible story for each lesson in the catechumen edition. This material will assist the catechist in understanding the basic catechetical material that is to be imparted to the catechumen from each lesson.
 
In addition, the catechist edition includes an expanded section on Paul’s missionary journeys. It allows for a second year of instruction which will focus on the parables and miracles of Jesus.
